In beautiful Limburg
Throughout Central Limburg you can map out your own cycling or walking route via the nodes. We have put together the best routes especially for you. You can choose one of these routes and take it with you. Would you like to explore Roermond or Thorn and its cultural heritage on foot? Then you can get directions from our B&B. B&B ‘t Inj is close to cycling junctions 95 and 38
There are a number of nature parks in the vicinity of our B&B where you can enjoy the Limburg landscape by bike or on foot.

You can also visit smaller nature reserves or walk around the Maasplassen. Smaller nature reserves within the municipality of Leudal are:

Roermond
The nicest shopping city in the Netherlands
Since 2016, Roermond has been in the top 5 of best shopping cities in the Netherlands. The city center of Roermond is 3 km away from our B&B.
This Bishop’s town with its historic center is very rich in cultural heritage designed by Mr. Cuypers. Roermond is buzzing with fun. In the city there are many terraces and eateries, well-known chain stores and authentic local shops. You will get a wonderful holiday feeling along the Roerkade.
On the outskirts of the city is the Designer Outlet Center Roermond with more than 200 shops, a casino and cinema.
If you want to know more about the history of the beautiful buildings in Roermond, you can visit the Cuypershuis. This is the birth house of this architect.
This house has become a beautiful museum where a permanent exhibition is interspersed with other exhibitions.
Horn - Leudal - Maasplassen
Horn
In this village you will find a museum. Back in time. You can also walk through the Castle Garden or towards the two windmills. Molen De Hoop is the only 16-sided windmill in Europe. You can relax at Sauna Top Alivio.
Play Pool, Snooker or Darts at Hornerhof.
De Maasplassen
What hardly anyone knows is that this water area of contiguous large and small lakes is the largest water recreation area in the Netherlands. Almost all puddles have a name. The 2 most famous lakes are: Hatenboer / De Weerd and the Boschmolenplas.
You can swim, surf, sail, dive, row, canoe, kayak or water ski. In hot temperatures you can enjoy the beautiful day beaches or trendy beach clubs. Boat owners can visit one of the large or smaller marinas with all modern facilities.

Panningen / Heythuysen / Weert / Kessel
Panningen, Heythuysen and Weert are great locations to shop and enjoy delicious delicacies. Everyone who does not like crowds can go here. In these atmospheric places you will also find nice restaurants for eating. Have you planned a bike ride to Castle de Keverberg in Kessel?
Then make a stop at ice cream parlor Clevers. This ice cream parlor wins the prize for the best ice cream every year.

Thorn and region
Maastricht - Eindhoven - Valkenburg - Belgian and Germany
These nice cities are a maximum of 30 minutes’ drive from our B&B.
International cities such as Cologne, Aachen, Düsseldorf and the Belgian Maaseik and Antwerp are all within a 60-minute drive.
Thorn
It is also called the white town. Thorn is known for its striking white-painted houses and monumental buildings.
The Abbey Church is worth a visit. You can buy a historical walk at the VVV in Roermond and Thorn. This walk of max 5 km takes you along all the highlights of this former principality. In the Gemeentemuseum “Land van Thorn” you can see all kinds of historical objects and the three-dimensional “Panorama Thorn”. Just outside the historic center is the special Chapel under the Linden.
